Men's Hockey Staff Prepare for Second Season
The summer months have just arrived here on Prince Edward Island, but for the management group from the Holland College Junior Hurricanes, hockey is on their minds. The Men’s Hockey team out of Holland College completed their inaugural season as part of the PEI Junior C hockey league this past February and after a few months off; they are back at work preparing for the club’s second season. Training Camp for the team will kick off in September.
“Right now we’re working on different things to prepare for next season; corporate sponsorship is the big job right now. Every team needs a strong group of corporate sponsors to lend support if a team wants to strive, so that is our main focus right now” said General Manager Daniel Cudmore.

Become a Corporate Partner!
Thanks to our great corporate partners from the 2010-2011 season, the Junior 'Canes were able to ice their inaugural team. The season was filled with many successes thanks to these supportive partners from around Prince Edward Island.
With the 2011-2012 season approaching, the 'Canes are once again seeking assistance from businesses on PEI that are interested in forming a partnership. Sponsorship allows students from PEI and abroad studying at Holland College the chance to play competitive hockey between the ages of 18 and 21. This season the 'Canes will be visiting several minor hockey practices to assist young hockey players on PEI as part of a community service.
For any interested groups, please contact [email protected] to discuss various options on how you can become a corporate sponsor.
The Junior 'Canes thank all partners for their continued support.
